Squad 1 Genin Report

After finally obtaining the rank of Jounin, Souma was finally ready to begin to take on a team in which he could mod into his own image, young Genin destined to be great saviours of the village. Souma had previously sent out messages to his students telling them where to meet, he had only two students for now since the third was yet to be assigned to him. Souma made his way towards the area jumping from rooftop to rooftop, it was his preferred way of travel and he was able to get to where he wished without any disturbances on the way there.

Souma reached a small secluded area close to the outskirts of the village. Souma dropped down. The mist in this area was quite dense because not dense enough to make it hard to see. The area was a small field surrounded by trees and a nearby water source. Even though the sun’s ray shone hard onto the earth’s surface the area was still quite cold feeling. In the middle of that area was Souma standing six feet four inches off the ground, he was green tinted shades and shrouded within the shades were Souma’s eyes which almost looked like Hyuuga’s, white and blank, but instead Souma was blind.

He was wearing a long black coat on top of a green t-shirt, the top was buttoned up so the bottom half of Souma’s face was covered up by the collar. He wore blue sweat pants and basic shinobi footwear as he stood on the dump ground waiting for his students to arrive. Souma was surrounded was surrounded by insects, he used them as a substitute for his lost sense of sight. Souma stood there waiting with his hands in his pockets, facing off into the distance as if blankly thinking to himself.

As received the message kitsune rushed to the meeting place to finally meeting his team leader.jumping from tree to tree faster and faster every second.then stop to see where else should he go.so he keeps going until he saw a lone man in a small field.Kitsune decided to see if he was his squad leader he jumps off a tree and landed on the ground.he looked at the teacher.Uhh are you the squad leader for squad 1?he says to man.kitsune couldn't really tell what he was thinking.He was going to ask him a question but he kept to himself.

What's the first thing you do when you wake up in the morning? Brush your teeth? Turn off the alarm? Eat some cereal or maybe a fruit? Reichi's a little different from that. When he wakes up each morning, he likes to dodge a trap he sets up for himself. When his alarm clock whirred that morning, he instinctively rolled over out of his bed and narrowly avoided three sharpened darts that slammed into the cushion of his bed. And as soon as lifting up his head to see what time it was, he pulled a kunai off of his night-stand and threw it at a target board that began sliding down the wall from where the shuriken had came from. With a good strike the board sank to the floor. It wasn't a bullseye, but it was good enough for only having woken up ten seconds before.

Just one of those traps that he sets up each night before entering slumber.

As he pulled himself up he would realize that he was already almost late. Ten minutes until he had been told to meet his instructor, and he was about ten blocks and still not dressed. Quickly removing his boxer-shorts, he would grab another pair from the dresser and with it shuffle on a pair of shorts and a blue shirt. It wasn't much, but it would do. And while he slipped into his sandals, he would sharply grab the equipment off of the top of his dresser and head out the door. His mother practically screamed at him to zip up his fly as he ran past and jumped out the kitchen window. Using the main door out of the apartment was too average for him. He needed to be out there and different.

It wasn't really his mother that was in the kitchen, just a friend whom his parents had left him with. He had been in orphanages before, but he didn't like them. So Chiyo, the woman who had been nagging at him for the past few months, had volunteered to take care of him as if he were her own. She was nice and all, but she still wasn't his real mother.

As he raced through the street with a pastry gripped between his teeth, being something he had stolen while passing through the kitchen, he buckled up his leashes and his leg pouch around his thigh. It was all something he had done so many times that he could now do it without really paying attention. And since he didn't have to, he could then watch ahead of himself and make sure he didn't run into anything. This was much different from how it would have gone if he were this late a year prior.

Rounding the last block corner, he would end up in what seemed like a dead end. But with one good jump over the alley wall, he flew up over it and landed on the other side. Quickly and without pause, he continued dashing toward the meeting point. And as he ducked branches and bounded over trees he would come across a small creek. Unfortunately, too much momentum can make it difficult to stop. Reichi found this out the hard way. With a large splash and thud, he would find himself in the midst of the small spout of water and drenched up to his ears. Splashing about wildly from the sudden chill, he would then drag himself up to the other side to find the sensei and another teammate in view.

Souma didn’t turn to face the direction from where a young boy’s voice had come from but instead begun to speak back in a deep serious evil-like tone. “You may call me Souma...and you must be...” Souma paused for a while and thought to himself, Ah, so this is the Jinchuriki they spoke of, Souma turned and finished his previous sentence in a much more uplifting tone. “...Kitsune Hikari.” Souma walked closer to the kid and patted him on the head to make sure.

“yep, you are Kitsune, you have the headphones the kage told me about.” He said smiling before turning to face the direction of Reichi. “...and you there...you must be Reichi Tokui.” Two of his students had already arrived all that was left was one more then Souma could begin with his teaching. Souma turned to Reichi then to Kitsune and spoke once more “It’s good to meet you both.”

Kitsune smiled at when the Souma-san patted his head.Its nice to meet you too sensei.kitsune said with a big smile.he look at the other boy who was his teammate and stuck out his hand and said.i'm Kitsune Hikari.nice to meet you.He said to the boy.

Souma liked this kid's tone, he could tell that it might not be hard to teach these Genin after all if they were as nice as Kitsune. "Alright, we shall wait a little longer for our third candidate to arrive...then we can begin what i have planned for you." Which was nothing, the truth was Souma had nothing planned, he would have done his usual training but he was told by other jounin that it was to harsh of Genin so he had to think of something else.

Rocks in his sandals and his clothes drenched, Reichi quickly took off his shirt and put his shoes to the side, leaving him only with shorts and what was underneath. However, this was not to say that he had removed his equipment. Shivering slightly from the combination of being drenched and cold air, he would take notice to the man presuming his name so confidently. It wasn't to go unnoticed that Reichi had never met this man before in his life, yet he somehow knew it was him. Maybe a bio was given to him on what Reichi looked like, but much more plausibly, it was just something on the way he acted. With that thought, he then realized the only thing he had done so far was trip into some water and look like an idiot doing so. His brow twitched slightly. 'Who does this guy think he is?'

Kneeling down he would wrench out water from his shorts and then step forward to greet the two. With a slight attitude, the boy would lean back in his stance and tilt his head just off to the side. "Yeah, real pleasure, sensei," And as the other boy would turn to meet him with an open hand and a congenial attitude, Reichi couldn't help but think he came to the wrong spot. Yet, this was the right spot so it couldn't have been wrong. Raising up the hand as if to grip the other boy's he would then turn at the last moment and slap the greeting away as if it were a nuisance.

"Thanks but no thanks. I only shake hands with people I like."

There wasn't really a need for a greeting since Souma had just said his name. It would be as if his reputation would proceed him. However, it wasn't as if Reichi didn't like the boy, he just didn't have enough respect for him to call him an ally just yet. Being one of Reichi's friends wasn't easy. You first had to earn his trust, and in order to keep it you would have to keep being just as awesome as when you first earned it. But that was just how his attitude worked. Being a teammate doesn't automatically give you respect from him.

Looking back toward the Jounin, he would tap his foot on the pivot. "So Souma, what makes you qualified to teach me?" He spoke out quite vividly, just trying to press on the sensei's nerves like he tended to do with all people. Still, looking closely he would see a number of bugs flickering in and out of sight about the man's form and crawling on his neck. Another brow twitch quickly developed, but this time from disgust rather than annoyance.

Kisune saw that Reichi slapped his hand away even though Souma said his name kitsune likes to interduce himself firmly.But didn't really care.Whatever man.Kisune says while looking away from the boy and then sat down and laid back and looked at the sky and started to think.He also wonder where the "third" teammate was at.

Souma heard and turned in the direction of the boy who had previously fallen into some water, he walked up to him slowly following the sound of the water dripping off him. Souma was able to differentiate this sound from the condensation water dripping from the leaves of the trees. Souma crouched down in front of the boy and looked directly at him as if he could see exactly where he was.
“What makes me qualified, huh?”
He paused for a while looking upwards and thinking to himself, he then faced down back at Reichi and spoke.
“Well, you were assigned to me and you pretty well don’t much of a choice now do you?...now play nice with the other Kids”
Souma said patronisingly as he got up and stood straight once more before moving back to his previous position. He took off his glasses to wipe off the water that had condensed onto them from the cold mist, he’s blank white pupils could be seen momentarily before Souma put his glasses back on.
“I was given information on all of you to help with my objective of moulding you into good ninja, Hikari the headphone kid...the hyuuga who is yet to come, and that annoying kid over there.”
Souma said just waving his hand in Reichi’s direction showing him no respect. Souma turned to the headphones kid,
“So far you are my favourite, keep it up.”
Souma was just trying to make idle conversation between all three of them to give them something to do until the Hyuuga arrived. Souma made a few handsigns and the ground beneath him begun to vibrate a bit then a small amount of earth shot up then dropped in front of him. He walked up and sat on the rock crossing his legs and sitting there doing nothing looking in the distance.
“I’ll give her a bit more time to show herself.”
He still didn't like the idea that he had to teach his own students.

As the man approached, Reichi couldn't help but flinch in the manner that meant him taking a slight step back and no longer standing upright and straight. And with a gaping mouth he would stare back into the dark depths that were the glasses of Souma. And as words dribbled out from his lips, all Reichi could do was try to focus on the words, and not on the fact that there was a number of small black beetles buzzing about in close proximity. The words were rather to the point and made note that this guy didn't really like him. And in return, Reichi would share a certain level of annoyance with the other man. Still, he wouldn't show any respect to the other genin unless it would be earned.

When Souma would return back to where he was, Reichi would watch him carefully as if to analyze the man's stature and actions as if it would tell him something about how strong this guy was. They didn't really help to do that, but showed Reichi that he was rather apathetic and didn't really care about personal standings between anyone. And it was no wonder as to why. When the man removed his shades to clean them, Reichi would notice the pale and burned clean eyes that stared off into nothingness. He had a neighbor whom was partially blind, and his eyes were also somewhat similar. So seeing someone's eyes who just looked similar but in a much worser state, would only go to tell Reichi that he must have been blind. Still, to be able to act as if he could see, the man must have amazing senses.

However, his sudden admiration for the man's talented senses faded with the comment that would pass about Reichi just being some annoying kid. In an aggravated state, he would clench his hands into fists and hold his position. 'I'm not just some annoying kid!' A mental note that would echo throughout his conscious. With a bit of a smirk he would recollect his confidence by speaking clearly in his mind. 'My name is Tsunami Reichi, and today I'm going to make you respect me!'

Still standing in his position, he would eye the Jounin whom he now fervently wanted to change the opinion of. And watching his actions with careful attention to detail, he would witness a quick formation of seals and then gaze upon the mound of rock that emerged from the ground. It was fast and efficient, and as the guy didn't even break a sweat it was clear that he was far beyond his own level of skill. Still, those seals would replay over and over within his mind. It was almost like a movie being played through his mind. And now, at this point, he wanted to try and replicate it. Or at least, see if he could.

Turning away from the group, he would wander off slightly and go to the next clearing over. When he arrived, he would ignore the rest of the group until it was necessary for him to return. But as he kept away from their view, he would have his back turned to them and form the seals at level with his chest. This would hide the fact that he was reforming the same seals he had seen the Jounin just perform and with a few repetitions, he knew that he might be able to get the combination down. And if he could get the combination down, he might even be able to try and perform the jutsu.

Kitsune was listening to everything Reichi said and frankly he was amused.when Reichi showed up Kitsune really didn't like him.but after hearing his responses he was become more set on making friends with him,but only when he decided to change his attitude.Because he only know him for two minutes and he already proven that if he continues later in the future they were going to end up fighting and Kitsune really didnt want that so he decided to leave him alone for now.

The misty mist in the forest started to make him sleepy so he decided to take a nap and wait until they started to do something.
