Appearing in a blur, three figures would stand before the gates of the great village known as Iwagakure no Sato.

Standing and staring at the guards to the gate, the central figure would unmask himself as he lowered the hood of his robe. Minamoto Hajime, the leader of the Hidden Waterfall would stand before the two other figures as if an idol of worship. With a rather emotionally derived mug, the man raised up a hand which held an envelope within it. "Deliver this message to the Tsuchikage. We wish to hold a meeting with him." His demanding words probably would be unwarranted within the confines of borders that were not his own, but the voice was so stern that it was clear that he would not deal with incompetence or defiance.

The two other figures removed their hoods as they stepped forward, and with a graceful movement of hands in unison, they removed their masks. One man was a blond haired and green eyed ninja, the other was of dark skin and had brown hair with hazel eyes. Both had forehead protectors tied across their brow and it was clear that they were high-level ninja from the Hidden Waterfall.

Hajime then stood in patience as he held the note out. Of course, he would only keep gracious for so long if these soldiers before him did not hold his request with the highest regards and make haste to deliver the note to their village's leader.

PostSubject: Re: Arriving on Hells Doorstep   Arriving on Hells Doorstep Icon_minitimeWed Jul 07, 2010 11:50 am

“A waste of time…”

Lynx found himself speaking as he quickly began to shift his shoulders attempting to best fit his body into jacket which seemed to slide and shift with each and every passing moment. The thick leathers which made it up seemed to draw themselves out by attaching onto his flesh and thus making it harder and harder for him to honestly sit still long enough for his body to get situated. However, the words of his advisors seemed to draw themselves deeper and deeper into his mind as he attempted to brush through the moments which made up his uneasy feelings.

“To be fair, I could care less… and you know this. So why even bother with it?”

Lynx found himself speaking as he finally managed to attach his jacket onto his body all the while advancing towards the gated area in an attempt to make himself seem more and more respectable as time slowly began to advance before him. Try as he might Lynx’s persona as a whole wasn’t settled into resting and residing into such positions of power and such. And as such he never could bring himself to rest and reside into the position which he had earned during his time as the acting leader of these lands.

Yet as he continued to walk down towards the gates he slowly began to notice that the aging individual who had been walking by his side seemed to grow more colder in his disposition as he slowly began to hunch over while trying to hide his head beneath the oddly designed collar which resided on his robe.

“Lord Shouten, please at the very least take into account that you are an acting head for the entire village. And you should at the very least take time and settle with the little villages which help craft the world around us…”

He spoke with his tiny frame slowly placing his hands together attempting to maintain the symbols which were now being crafted as each of his fingertips began to generate a brand new series of signs. Lynx almost carried no weight on the man's actions as he watched him through the corners of his eyes.

“Not that I care…”

Lynx found himself speaking as he quickly began to attach his gloves onto his fingertips with a new found amount of strength around it. As though stiffening the leathers which were attached onto his fingers as though trying to honestly and truly attempting to see to it that they were firmly attached onto his hands.

"What is it that you mean by that?"

He continued to speak on with his conversation as if he hadn't been doing anything in the midst of the sentence. As though trying to make sure that his appearance was more up to speed more so then his personal outlook. Only to hear the words of the man who had been standing by his side fades away from him.

“I’m saying don’t screw this up and act like your normal self…”

He spoke as he began to whish away from the area with a single flash of near nothingness. It was a quick movement that Lynx couldn’t have been bothered to keep up with, while he slowly tried his best to keep up with his movements.

As Lynx began to advance towards the gate without a moments notice about the area around him, he knew that there was a safe bet that everything around him was to be monitored and that he would have no freedom to do anything other then to speak towards them as though the acting figure head of the village that he himself created. It was perhaps one of the more restrictive aspects of what he did, and at the same time it was something that made him feel more and more confused as he walked towards the gate way holding onto nothing to symbolize his ranking and standings as the lord of the land other then his purple jacket which bore the sign of two rocks overlapping one another.

As Lynx made his way towards the gates opening he began to notice that several figures seemed to be in his way. And as it stood he was having a hard time taking any of them serious enough for him to bother with his standard introductions. So, as Lynx continued to advance forward towards them he slowly began to lift his hand up as though trying to showcase a standard understanding between them.

PostSubject: Re: Arriving on Hells Doorstep   Arriving on Hells Doorstep Icon_minitimeWed Jul 07, 2010 12:20 pm

As the three of them waited, Reichi would allow for his eyes to wander and scan the visible part of the village through the gates. And though it wasn't noticed at first from sight alone, he could feel the formation of chakras from near all directions. It appeared that the arrival of another high-level ninja would be something to be monitored throughout the village. And though Reichi couldn't really feel out the true direction or location of these chakras, he knew they were present. His subordinates however, would know exactly where they were hiding. Still, they did not let their eyes hint to the idea that they might have noticed. Instead, they watched the few guards standing at the gate and waited for the Tsuchikage to make his arrival. Standing with cool confidence, the three of them would appear to have no fear of being ambushed nor any hint of collective thought toward the action of defense. It was because of who Reichi was. He was the strongest ninja from where they came from, and because of it there was nothing to fear.

As a rather respected-looking figure, followed by an elderly individual, would approach, Reichi would begin to measure his abilities by paying close attention to the details. His posture was upright, his chakra seemed to be well hidden for the moment, but he was a Kage. Therefor, it was only to be assumed that he would be plenty powerful and difficult to handle if the situation would turn for the worse. But seeing the man raise up arms and appear to be rather kind in his movements, Hajime could only assume this was a front in order to appear kind. Still, he could not put off a front by calling it. Instead he would also act with kindness until the two would be familiar enough to drop their charade.

"It's a pleasure to finally meet you, Shodaime."

He would step forward and bow his head slightly, still keeping eye contact with the man before him. It was a sign of respect from where he had been raised, and he only wished to show a being, whom would later could become a great ally, with gratitude. But after a quick greeting, he would raise his head and show only honest emotion. "This issue is important and should be talked about in secret, but I feel I at least owe you the respect of informing you the reason as to why I have came here before we speak in private." a momentary pause would stress just how difficult it was to speak of it, "I feel there is a war on the horizon. And I came to ask for your village's assistance in assuring that my people do not fade when the sun rises."

All the while listening to the words of the man before him Lynx couldn’t help but feeling as though for some reason it was a bit of a time waster that he had been asked to act formal and speak to three people. It was fairly obvious from their demeanor that they took themselves too serious and for the most part they weren’t really willing to do anything outside of throwing their opinions and values which they were trying to grab a hold of onto Lynx so that it would be safe for them to relax.

However, it was fairly obvious that try as he might Lynx wouldn’t really find anything of worth sitting around and talking to these people on something so random and odd that it made him feel as though not only was he lazy but he wasn’t really much for bothering with such paranoia plots as this and such. But, considering he had to deal with the events that would directly effect his people in his village he had to at least pretend to pay attention and fake having the follow through to care about the words of this random old man.

“So…”

Lynx found himself speaking as he attempted to recap on everything that was said to him just moments ago. It was as though he had heard it but at the same time what he had heard was so farfetched that he didn’t really have time to process it as he should have. So, it was best that he at least get all of the details before casting his final judgment on the matter as a whole. Or at the very least try and see to it that he was hearing everything properly.

“I’d like some details…”

Lynx found himself speaking as he slowly began to strike his head as though in thought. Almost as though trying to consider the situation as a whole all the while he kept speaking, but at the same time lowering himself to not be so condescending that he wouldn’t be willing or able to listen. It was as though he was honestly trying his best to look at this from a diplomatic standpoint while still trying to be probable.

“You’ll forgive me if I’d like a who, when, where, what. And possibly a few names and locations in detail to go with that. Considering most of the people here aren’t up to getting thrown into a war they know nothing about…”

Lynx continued to speak as he lowered his hand from his head and now placed them into his pockets awaiting for some type of acknowledgement from the aging man before him. As though this was nothing more then a random encounter with another high and mighty type who ‘wanted’ his help but wasn’t willing or prepared to give anything in return. In truth it was almost enough to make Lynx laugh in their faces, however at the same time he knew all too well exactly how serious most if not all of the men of these parts took themselves when it came to power and rank.

As Lynx would show a rather blank expression, it would reveal to Hajime that this man wasn't one to pay notice toward the small details within the world unless his attention was already called upon it. Only if he was directly linked with any action would he see to it to collect information. And with this in mind, Hajime would have to try and get this man out of public eye so that they could speak on the rather troubling matters that his opening statement brought forth.

"Anything further of this matter should be spoken of in private. There are some rather pressing issues that involve secrets within my country that I am only willing to share in secrecy. I will not openly share them out in the open like this." His arms would express attention toward the surroundings and how he did not wish for every soldier and ninja within ear shot to hear of what the two would need to speak of.

"Please, Tsuchikage-sama," the blond-haired ninja spoke out in earnest as he dropped to his knees.

Hajime's wish for Lynx to continue the conversation was great, but not so much that he would have his comrades lose their own self-respect. No matter what the cause, he could not allow for his ninja to disgrace themselves. Especially before a village whom the Hidden Waterfall was not currently allies with. Turning toward the personal-guard, he would grab the man by his arm and pull him to his feet. He would speak quietly as he wished only to communicate the message toward his comrade. Still, it might have been loud enough for the Tsuchikage to hear."Ganta, don't grovel. Our village is not in such dire need that we would disgrace ourselves for assistance." He would assure the man that it was not necessary. The blond-haired ninja nodded and stepped back once more.

Facing the Tsuchikage once more, Hajime would resume his prestige. "If we may continue the conversation elsewhere..."

Arriving on Hells Doorstep Empty
PostSubject: Re: Arriving on Hells Doorstep   Arriving on Hells Doorstep Icon_minitimeThu Jul 08, 2010 1:04 pm

Lynx couldn’t really bring himself to take the matter as serious as they seemed to be taking it. Almost as though something about everything that they were doing was making him uneasy all the same while at the feelings that he was bearing seemed to bother him a great deal. It was perhaps one of those times that his advisors had told him about, which caused for him to grow more and more uneasy while standing before him and acting as though they were in dire troubles to receive his assistance.

The matter at hand was one that was horribly vague to him, while at the same time seemed to be so distant that it might as well had been a joke or a random murmur of sorts. It was a mumble across the winds which could barely make it to him if he had forced himself to reach out and try and understand everything that was going on. The truth behind everything seemed to make him feel slightly uneasy and confused simply sitting there and watching them speak and such.

The thing that made the issues more and more difficult to him was the fact that the group as a whole seemed to advance further and further to the point that it was impossible for him to bother with them seriously. It was as though they were trying their best to get Lynx to understand their situation, and at the same time he was trying his best to honestly not take the issues serious.

As he listened to the rest of the people within the area who had been standing beside the man before him. Lynx’s stature began to almost break apart from the words the men continued to speak before him. As thought they were far too important to be bothered speaking about what they intended to speak of, in the area that they had originally requested. Lynx had reached his wits end when it came to dealing with them, and now all he could do was chuckle as he slowly spoke up as though trying to humor them.

“I will ask why it is that you asked to meet me here, and then tell me half assed details and expect me to take them serious?”

Lynx spoke as his hands ran through the blonde tips of his hair as though trying to get something out of them. As though he was having issues even taking everything serious without speaking his mind anymore and he had reached his limitation. Now, the only thing that he could do was tighten his glove onto his wrist as he turned his back from the men and slowly began to motion towards them to follow behind him.

“We shall talk in ‘private’ then.”

Lynx made signals with his hand as though trying to make it seem as though he was making a much heavier quotation on the words private so that they could fully understand just how serious he took things. It was as though each of the words that he used seems to have their important aspects to them, yet for the most part he couldn’t bring himself to see them as serious. Yet he had begun to advance forward towards the building which was his active housing area.
