Meeting New People {Open}

Jaku stepped out from the store, holding the bag full of groceries in his hand. He was wearing his usual red jumpsuit, along with a newly purchased ridiculous hat, which extended three feet in every direction from the top of his head. Jaku had only just graduated from the ninja academy, and it would still be a few days until he was assigned to a squad of other genin. However, due to his recent graduation the village had given him a small monthly stipend to live on, meaning he could now live outside of the orphanage he grew up in. As such Jaku has been very busy buying food and other essentials for his new home. However, as soon as he dropped off the groceries in his hand, he would take the rest of the day off and walk around the village. Maybe he would meet someone new, or see something exciting. Anything was possible!

"Dango, Dango, Dango, Dango, one big happy dango family! Azami hummed as looked at the flowers in the stand, were she had been looking in a few minuts now. She was picking out from flowers that she could give to her brother on 21, wich was 9 years older than her, as a good luck charm for him recovering. He had been on a ANBU mission with a assigned squad, were they had been up against some missing nins that had stolen a secret scroll from the village, followed by them running away, they were chunin and jounin level, so a ANBU squad had been send. One of them had been a earth jutsu user, and it had resulted in her brother breaking 2 ribs and a arm, wich meant he was currently in the hospital.

The old woman in the stand, smiled down to the little hyuuga heir. The old woman in the stand, had been selling flowers to her ever since she could walk, since every sunday azami would lay some flowers on her mother`s grave. Azami always feelt a hint of guilt, since her mother had died due to her weak heart when she had given birth to azami.

Jaku had only just left his new apartment when he spotted a girl he knew just across the street. Although he couldn't recall her name, she had been in his year at the ninja academy, but in a different class. She was obviously a Hyuuga, from the large white eyes that always made Jaku feel uncomfortable, as if she was staring right through him. Jaku wondered for a moment how the Hyuuga Clan's techniques would work on him: after all, he didn't draw his Chakra from the typical chakra points, although hopefully he would never have to find out exactly what one of the Hyuugas could do to him.

Shaking his head for a moment to clear his thought, Jaku lightly walked across the street, dodging in and out of the traffic of the carts, his hat bobbing along with his movement. As he reached the other side, he lightly tapped the girl on her shoulder.

"Hi! I don't know if you know me, but I'm Jakunen, Jaku for short. We were in the same year at the academy. So, have you been assigned to your new squad yet?"

"hmmm..Oi, the red once, obaa-san!", Azami said, smiling up to the old lady who had become like a grandmother to her. Her own grandparents she had never meet. Her grandmother died 3 years befor her brother`s died, while her grandfather died a few weeks after her brother`s birth due to sorrow, leaving her father as the head of the clan. "because its for you nii-san, they are free today, azami-chan", she said, patting her on the long unsual colored white hair.

"Thanks!..eh?, Jakunen-san, its been awhile!", she said, turning her head towards Jakunen that was wearing a unsual large hat. "I have, Uchiha hideo-kun, and Rokumaru-kun are my teamates!", she said, tugging the red roses the old lady had handed her

Uchiha and Hyuuga together? A potent combination of Doujutsu. Jaku also knew of Rokumaru, as they had both grown up orphans, although they had never been that close. Jaku felt sorry for him: with two powerful bloodlines in his team, it would be difficult to contribute and not be a burden. Jaku hoped that the team would work out.

"Ahh, so a double Doujutsu? I wonder how that could have happened! I've yet to be assigned to a team of my own, although fingers crossed I don't get someone too crazy! So, what're you doing today? I was planning on just walking around, I didn't except to see someone I knew so soon!"

"Oto-san said i was meant to team up with hideo-kun, we are both the prodigy`s of our clans...Rokumaru-kun is a little sad over he dosent have a bloodline, but he will see that you dont need one to be powerfull!", she proclaimed, smiling sweetly to him, her lavender eyes being gentel and innocent, almost the oppesent of the grown up hyuuga`s.

"I was getting some flowers for my onii-san, he broke his arm and some ribs on a ANBU mission, so im giving them in hope for they will cheer him up!"

"Oh, I didn't know you had a brother. I hope he gets better, although I'm sure even a major injury like that won't stop him, especially if he's tough enough for ANBU."

Jaku had no idea until now that Azami was the prodigy of the Hyuuga clan. He really felt sorry for Rokumaru now, even without an Uchiha prodigy! Still, Azami was nice enough, so she wouldn't be too bad for him, although Jaku had no idea how the personality of Hideo would play out. The Uchihas tended to be rather aloof, although there were of course exceptions.

"So do you know when you guys are going on your first mission? I don't see it being any trouble for you three!"

"Nrrg, we only just begun trainning, but i asume rei-senpai soon will give us, our first mission, through it only will be D-ranked...its gonna be fun trainning, through oto-sama wants daily reports if i made any progress in trainning..ever since onii-san refused to be the heir, oto-san has been focusing most of his time on trainning me in fighting and knownledge.., she said, her tone dropping sligtly into a sorrowfull one, telling him that being the heir wasent easy, and took its turn on the young girl.

"Sounds like so much fun..."

Jaku voice was laden with sarcasm, displaying his sympathy for her plight. He didn't like training too much, although he knew it was necessary if one wanted to become a strong ninja. Jaku hoped that the girl wouldn't have too much pressure put on her, although he knew how likely it was. From what he had heard, the talented in a bloodline you were, the more pressure was put on you to represent the clan well. Her entire family would be pushing to see how she did, while Jaku answered only to himself. It must be terrible for her...

"So, are you headed straight to the hospital to see your brother?"

"Huh?..yea i am..wait what time is it!?", she said panicking, looking up at the old woman who had been watching them with a small smile, thinking the youth were so cute. "Ah, its around 5 over 4, narami-chan, why?", "Ehhh?, a little past?, im surpose to be there in 10 minuts!!". Narami took a hold of his wrist, sprinting down the street, having the people doing late afternoon shopping step aside

Jaku, surprised at the sudden running, quickly caught his step, and pulled away, running alongside. The pair dodged in and out of pedestrian traffic, causing many passerby to wave their hands and shout at the two. Jaku wsn't used to running this quickly for this long, and tired out very quickly, although Azami seemed find. Holding his hand up to his face, he performed a small seal, releasing his Chishio Gokai. His eyes flashed red, and his teeth elongated. His quickly sped up, easily catching up with Azami again.

"How much farther is it?"

"Right aroudn the conor!", she said, speeding further.

It had been a normal day for Hajumi. He had been spending the day in bed, reading a good book, given the daily bloodsampel to the nurse, eaten some lunch for the first time in awhile, feeling his arm had been recovering, since he somewhat could move his shoulder, at last up and down a little. It wasent a bad place, he did get visits from his genin team that had brought him a afternoon snack, but a flower from his littlesister was missing. He always feelt guilt when he saw how far his father pushed his only 12 year old sister. He had refused to become the heir, seeing as he didnt see himself as worthy, forcing his father to take his younger sister, and put her through the intence trainning.

"onii-san, onii-san!", azami said, bursting through the door with a exsausted Jakunen behind her, letting go of his hand, rushing over to the bedside, sitting up on it, hugging her brother`s waist. Hajumi laid his healthy arm around her, running a hand through her long white hair, smiling a little. "Azami, what a surprise", he said smiling gently, his white eyes being grown up and wise, through holding a oddly gentel tone to it. He had waistlong very darkbrown hair, being pulled into a low ponytail, his bangs fraimming his face, he was handsome you couldt denie it.

Jaku watched as Azami grabbed her older brother close. There was obvious love in the air, and for a moment Jaku felt a pang of jealousy. He had never had a family growing up, and it was only the lonely desperation of those around him which kept him from falling into depression: He had decided long ago that he would not fall into the trap that befall many orphans, falling into a deep pit of sadness. Jaku had tried all his life to be as happy as he could, but it still couldn't prevent moments like this from stabbing deep into his heart. With a sigh, he stepped into the room, pulling of his hat now that he was indoors, while simultaneously deactivating his earlier jutsu.

Hajumi smiled down to his little sister, taking the flowers, blushing a little as she kissed his strong chin, giggling, purring like a little kitten as she placed the flowers into a vase on the small table next to his bed, were a half eaten lunch considering of some sweet dango, dripping with some kind of strawberry sauce on it. "Hm, who is you little friend?", he said, looking at jaku.

"Jakunen Kokoromi. It nice to meet you, Hajumi-San"

Jaku continued to look the ninja up and down, sizing him out. He wondered how powerful the girl's older brother was. He had turned down the title of the Hyuuga Prodigy, for reasons unknown to Jaku. He obviously possessed some skill, to be part of Anbu. Jaku had never heard of him before now, although that didn't mean much, as ninja notoriety mostly depended on how the ninja wanted to be perceived. Still, it would be good to know him, as who knew where the conversation could lead?
