Personality: Tai is a very...loud kid. He doesn't hesitate telling people what's on his mind, whether it be good or bad, to a stranger, or to someone he knows. He is known to go around the village telling females how physically and mentally attractive they are. It fails 99% of the time, no matter how hard he tries. While he may seem loud and uncaring, he is very sensitive, and understanding. He will listen to your problems if you sit him down and tell them to him. He is fairly sharp intellectualy, again slightly contradicting his loud, and outspoken personality.

History: Tai was born on May 2nd, into the Kanatasi clan, to Mayumi and Ryubasa Kanatashi.


As a child, Tai was very quiet. In fact, he did not speak his first words until he was 2 years old. This largely conflicts the personality he has currently. But anyway, growing up, Tai was tended to very carefully, considering he was from the most powerful clan in Iwagakure. He understood his role at a very early age, and decided he'd be a ninja at age 6. Growing up, he always noticed he was faster than the other kids, and stronger than the other kids. He didn't understand why, until his parents sat him down one day, and informed him that due to the clans Kekkei Genkai, he will always be able to run faster than the other children, and be stronger." They didn't tell him what the Kekkei Genkai actually was, until he began attending the Ninja Academy at age 8.

Ninja Academy

Tai flourished in the ninja academy, gaining many friends, and getting decent grades in the process. He graduated at the age of 11, with a C+ average, and little difficulty in the ninjutsu department. He met his former best friend, Masusa when he was 10. The two would do everything together. They would go to each others houses, talk whenever they could. Everything was going smoothly until Masusa died in a fire. When this happened, Taiki blamed himself, because Masusa was supposed to be at Tai's house, and not his own. Tai trained hard from there on.


At age 12, learned his first Doton technique. He gradually started using Ninjutsu more, but not nearly as much as Taijutsu. At age 13, Tai was about to compete in the Chuunin exams, but was pulled out because his clan decided that he was the prodigy. So, they trained him for 2 years independently, and he unlocked his Level 2 Kekkei Genkai. Now, he is back, and ready to compete again.

Description: After striking the ground with his hands, the user creates a large wall of earth in front of him. The defense is not perfect though, since a hard or drilling impact can puncture the wall. Also, since this technique only guards frontal attacks, the enemy can easily attack from the side or even from above.
