A Coincidental Meeting (Team Two)

Life sure would have been more interesting if their team was meeting. She knew it was going to happen, perhaps even soon, but Karasu just couldn't wait. There was a lot of work to be done, a lot of training and missions, but that time wasn't now. With any luck the meeting would be sooner rather than later, but that still meant that the whole day was left for... that was where the question was. What was she going to do today? Well, one thing was for certain, there was the need for her to go shopping for groceries. After all, it might be a good idea to get some kunai training in. Maybe it would be a good idea to train the one technique that she knew, something that she needed to work on to make sure that she was actually able to use that technique well enough for a battle.

Right now, though, it was time to get the groceries back to her house. Mom will be happy that I got eggs and come spices. We have enough beef and pork, so maybe tonight we'll have an awesome dinner. The only problem, now, was that there were several people in her way. Why did the market have to be so busy? Well, it was always a chance to get some more training in, and soon Karasu had actually jumped to a nearby open window. Another jump brought her to the roof, where she immediately started jumping to try to get home quicker. One jump, two jumps, and then there was something that came from having two bags that actually overtook her sight. The young Genin didnt see the young boy as he jumped, and soon her bags of food would find themselves smashing against him.

Awesome way to meet somebody, right?

“Well, that’s not really how i wanted to start the day but thanks for that.”

There went the eggs, the spices, that certainly wasn't the best part of the day. Cold stare, and then the sarcastic comment. “You're quite welcome.” Sarcasm returned, Karasu smiled smugly at the young boy who was wiping egg from his clothes. It had been a waste of some money, but from her opinion it seemed that it might have been worth it.

“I would say sorry and that was my fault but i think we both know that it wasn’t."

“Well, I guess that is that then. Neither of us apologize because neither of us are at fault here.” If anyone was, it was him. After all, Karasu didn't really have her eyesight when she had those bags. “Unless you know how to see through bags.” Why was she holding the bags anyway? Nearly everything was gone from them, either smashed into the young boy or smashed on a rooftop. Both bags were soon sat down, and then the young Uchiha glanced up at him. “I guess that's the end of those. Bad news, though, I don't have enough money to buy the stuff that I did before.

Unless you know of some place where I can get groceries really cheap?”

“No, i don’t know of cheaper places to buy groceries.”

That wasn't good news, not in the slightest. Well, maybe there would be enough groceries at the house for her mom to be able to make a good dinner, anyway. Karasu couldn't stop herself from sighing, the day just took a turn for the worse. Why did this type of thing have to happen to her? Then came the recognition, at least of the fact that she was an Uchiha, which caused her to place her hand on the back of her head and chuckle.

“It's nice to meet you, Kida Touzen.” This person was his teammate? Oh, right, the scroll did show somebody like that. The name seemed familiar, too. “As you obviously know, my name is Karasu. I can't really say that I had any preconceived notion of you, though.” Why would she? “So... you wouldn't happen to be able to help me figure out how I'm going to eat tonight, would you? I mean... part of the meal is split between the roof and yourself, so I don't think I'm going to be able to eat it now.”

Meaningless conversation? What was meaningless about the fact that she might not be able to eat tonight? Her parents would be so angry, too, knowing that food had been wasted and money had been wasted. I'll have to figure out some way to explain this that doesn't involve the fact that I ran into somebody. Wait... a question? Karasu nodded, almost as if to say 'sure, ask away', but she knew that it didn't matter anyway. Rude people like that didn't care whether or not the question was wanted.

“...Since you are an Uchiha, you must be quite strong and skilled as the others of your clan right?”

Oh great, somebody who was going to harp on the idea of the clan. That would go well for her, knowing that she was going to be expected to be one of the greatest Genin on the team. "Yeah. The clan isn't make of weaklings. Why?" That was perhaps the more important question, to know exactly why this person was asking about her strength. Was he going to try to start a fight? Hopefully not, the entire idea of fighting right now didn't seem to be such a fun idea.

Maybe he wouldn't, though.

A young girl stared at her white hair that hung straight down, her legs where curled around a metal bar of a water tower, she herself upside down, looking straight at the top of the rooftop below her. Her thin tongue snaked out of her mouth as she licked her lips, Strawberry flavored lip gloss, my favorite! Her eyes darted to the side, and soon she was staring at two figures like a hawk looking for its prey. Her tongue retreated back into her mouth as she folded her arms across her chest and continued to stare at the two figures. Nyu spent a lot of her time on the rooftops, usually just hanging out, literally, and thinking about things. Most of her friends were still in the academy and she could not really socialize with them during the day.

Suddenly her eyes opened wide, the boy, she could just barely make out his features but there was no mistaking it, he was one of her teammates! Her legs unwrapped from the metal bar and she let gravity take hold as she did a front flip and landed on all fours. Friends! She shot off with a powerful burst of speed and leapt high into the air as she came to the edge of the rooftop. Her white hair whipped in the air beautifully as she soared across the rooftops before landing on all fours once again, now on the rooftop the two figures where one.

She kicked off the ground and ran up to the two figures, and now she saw that one of them was a girl, she turned slightly scarlet. What if they where smooching! “Hello! Am I interrupting?” She glanced around to see random groceries littered the rooftop, Must be a ruff make out session…

“Hello! Am I interrupting?”

Interrupting what? Karasu looked over to the new arrival, a puzzled look on her face. What did she think... oh no. Boy, girl, secluded rooftop, all of it clicked into place with her slightly reddened face. A slight scarlet dawned her face, at least for a few moments, before she forced it away. That type of thing was the last thing that would have happened with this meeting, or at least near the last thing. Perhaps a fight to the death was the last thing, right below what she was obviously thinking of.

"If I didn't know any better, I'd think the both of you were stalking me." Karasu glanced between the two of them, trying to figure out exactly how this was going to end. All of the team was there, minus the sensei, but that didn't mean anything. Were they going to start training? It was possible, of course. "So... what now? I mean... I still have to figure out a way to get some food without much money. The rest of you probably have a lot more exciting things to do."

Nyu tilted her head sideways, a small cute blink from her eyes and she folded her arms across her chest again. “Nice to meet you too sir!” Her legs snapped together and her arms unfolded as she went to a strange attention position, and then relaxed with a small giggle, “You guys seem cool I can’t believe I got teamed with such cool people!” She glanced at the other female and gave her a very friendly smile, “Don’t worry I am not stalking you, or am I?”

Nyu giggled again and then listened to the ladies problem, and then her eyes lit up. Her parents gave her tons of money that she never knew really what to do with. She reached into her tattered coat pocket and pulled out a small pouch. She untied it and reached in, and then pulled out a small wad of bills. She tossed the money to the female with a small giggle, “I can’t have my teammate starve now can I?” She put the pouch back into her pocket and then let out a powerful Yawn and threw her arms in the air showing off her perfect curves and sexy body while she stretched. I need to get my nails done. Nyu studied her nails as she awaited her teammates’ response.

“I was actually joking, you two.” Well, at least there was one person out of the two that she might get along with. She seems quite hyperactive, but that isn't always a bad thing. Maybe we'll end up become best friends. Karasu nervously chuckled, thinking about the fact that there was actually a person on the team that she liked. Not only, but the thought that they were the cool people was something that hadn't ran through her mind at all. Were they the cool people? I wonder if the other guy knows what a joke is, even. I bet somebody like him wouldn't know anything about funny.

“I can’t have my teammate starve now can I?”

A small wad of bills were thrown at her, right hand moving out to catch it as her expression changed to one of shock. Wait... there was one of them that actually cared about her well-being? Yeah, they were definitely going to be friends, that was perhaps better news than the fact that she was had to decided to throw money at the young Uchiha. Then came the yawn, the stretch, and Karasu couldn't help but be a little jealous. This woman had such a perfect body, lots of money, it was all these things that made her wonder why neither of those things were hers as well. Well, things couldn't be so bad. That young woman wasn't somebody from the clan such as herself. That meant that only one of them was going to prove superior.

“So, where to now?”

That was what was asked after the 'might as well come along' phrase was said, and Karasu took in a deep breath before letting it out slowly. “Well, there's a good grocery store nearby. Unless you guys have somewhere that you want to go first, it would be nice to go there first. My mom's probably at her wit's end trying to figure out what's taking me so long.”

Nyu tilted her head sideways. These folks where a little strange, she seemed very thankful, that was nice, but she had a parent waiting for her. "I got it! Let us quickly go to your house and tell your mom that we will be out for a few more hours with your team! Then lets go shopping!" Nyu threw her right fist into the air like it had been a shout of triumph and she let a small broad smile spread across her face. I am a genius. Nyu was really excited about spending time with her team.

Maybe after they go shopping they could even train together, or maybe that would come later once they had a sensei. Either way, this was going to be fun. Even the cute boy wanted to come along, that made her even more excited. He likes to shop too! Nyu knew they would all be good friends, yet something inside her growled in frustration. Pathetic! They are Pathetic! Nyu blinked.

What was that? Nyu took a step back and blinked a few more times, it was strange but it had happened before. A few moments later she regained her composure and then awaited for them to lead the the way.

"I got it! Let us quickly go to your house and tell your mom that we will be out for a few more hours with your team! Then lets go shopping!"

Still enthusiastic, still happy, still a person who could be a great friend in the future. Ot maybe right not? Who knew? Karasu was't the type that wrote people off, aside from the extremely rude boy who was on her team, and every indication o far pointed to her being somebody who would definitely be a great friend. Broad grin followed her own, and the young Uchiha was left glancing to see if the other person was going to ruin the excitement once again. After all, that seems to be his role on the team. So far, all he's done is be a horrible mood killer.

Eyes glanced back just in time to see the jump back, but she was smarter than to ask a specific question. Everyone had their secrets. Not to mention that this woman had been acting strange almost the entire time, or at least acting much different than could be considered normal.

"I assume your house is located in this direction, it was where you were headed before you crushing into me right?"

"Not that far, either, follow me." Without waiting for another thing to be said, Karasu was soon turning and charging in the direction that she had been going, A leap from one roof to another, hoping that the other two were following, and soon she actually jumped down right in front of a house. Once again, she didn't wait to see if either of the other two had actually caught up. Right into the door, to an empty house, and she let out a sigh. Maybe her mom had gone out to get the groceries that she had missed? That was the real thing that might have been happening.

Either way, the problem was solved with a pencil and paper. A few more hours with the team, and more groceries than expected would be gotten, the note being put on the kitchen table. A turn around, and a walk out. "That's a relief, I thought she was going to be a lot angrier than she was. I guess it's time to head to the store, then?"

Nyu was relaxing outside the girl's house, staring at the sky, a lock of hair fell down in front of her eyes so she blew it out of the way with a puff of wind from her mouth as her teammate was coming out of her house. She is back... Nyu grinned as her friend joined them and she nodded to her, "Yes, I am ready to go whenever you guys are, you can pick the place we go."

Nyu was for some reason itching to do some training or a mission or something, but shopping would work for now. She was just so hyper she wanted to do something! She did a few punches in the air as she waited for her teammates to take off, it would be no problem catching them if they got a head start or keeping up with them. She glanced at the other man though, Why do I keep looking at him?

“So you’re done then”

Really? Every step of the way, it seemed that this attitude was going to follow with the young boy like a plague. Well, it was less of an attitude and more or a lack of the ability to care. He's starting to get annoying. Geez, what's wrong with this guy? That question was one that likely would take a long time to answer, if it could even be answered at all, and it left Karasu with only one recourse. She had to ignore him more and pay more attention to the enthusiastic young woman who was her other teammate.

“So...where to now?”

"To the grocery store!" Almost an exact copy of her enthusiastic teammate, Karasu thrust a fist into the air with vigor. Perhaps that was the way to truly be happy. Regardless of that, she had to rush if she wanted to get the groceries back in any short amount of time. Once again, the easiest way brought her jumping onto the rooftop. Not only was it the fastest way, but it was also a way that could help her out. After all, as her father had always said, even the most mundane tasks help strengthen a person. Roof to roof, jumping and running, the young Uchiha was actually starting to enjoy this day. Sure, her teammates weren't what anyone could call normal.

One was excited about everything.

The other made the young Uchiha want to punch him.

At least while she kepy moving, though, she could focus on the moment. Closer and closer they got to the store, her own mental list keeping track of what it was that was needed. Alright, all I have to do is get the same stuff I did before. Maybe one of the two can stop anyone from running into me. Another few minutes, and she walked back into the store where she had bought the groceries before. It wasn't a large place, but it was the place with the best spices in the village. Karasu knew what she was getting this time, though, and soon came out with the two giant bags that she had been carrying before. Well, so much for this being fun.

"I'm going to need one of you to make sure that nobody accidently runs into me."

Nyu patiently followed her as she did her various chores and bought her groceries. Though earlier she was ready to go shopping, she was very drawn back now. It was rare that the Nibi talked to her, or put thoughts in her head, but when he did it seemed to close her out to all other things. She stood behind Kida, one of her teammates, as their other teammate left the store with a large armful of groceries.

Nyu folded her arms across her chest and watched, wondering what they would do now, would they separate ways and meet again when the time came for their true meeting? Nyu felt like that would be the right thing to do, “I am sorry, I am not feeling too well, sorry to bail on you two but I need to go back home. I hope you got everything you need.”

Nyu unfolded her arms and twisted her body one eighty degrees and leapt into the air, her right hand curled around the edge of a roof and she used it to vault herself onto the roof. She was away in a flash, leaping from roof to roof at an almost uncanny speed, her white hair lashed with the wind as she crossed the village in record time, she could see the training grounds to her right, which meant she was close.

She did a flip and landed on the cold ground of the training ground and decided to take a detour by going through there to her house. She closed her eyes for a second and took a breath; two fiery blue eyes greeted her as she did so, and her eye jolted open in panic.
